How to create a User in MantisBT?

Hey guys, in this post will learn about how to create a User in MantisBT.

Pre-requisite : Install MantisBT

Suggested Readings : How to create a Project in MantisBT

Step 1 : Click Manage

Step 2 : Click Manage Users

Step 3 : Click Create New Account

Step 4 : In the next screen,

1. Enter Username
2. Enter RealName
3. Enter Email address
4. Enter Access Level

Click Create User

Step 5 : User created successfully.

Step 6 : Assign user to the project

1. Select the project
2. Select Access level of the user for that project
3. Click Add User

Step 7 : User added to the project successfully.

Note : You can remove the project from the user by clicking Remove option next to the assigned projects.

Step 8 : Update User preferences and Click Update Prefs.

Note : You can also reset your preferences to the default by clicking Reset Prefs in the bottom.

Step 9 : Update User information if necessary and Click Update User

Step 10 : To delete entire user account completely from the system, Click Delete User

Step 10 : Search Users by Alphabets, Sort columns by clicking the column name and to manage user directly enter the username in the search box and Click Manage User.
